I wanted to do this before I got too tired. Author events and more SWAG! Yesterday I attended An Evening With Hillary Jordan presented by New Castle County Reads 2019. Bravo and props to Ms. Jordan for her brilliant lecture. Yes, many people said she was brilliant! I said it too, but it was while she was signing my book copies and I don’t believe she heard me, but I’ll say it now!
Ms. Jones is the author of Mudbound which is also a Netflix Original Movie and When She Woke.
It was a pleasure listening to her and I’m glad I attended. If you have a chance to hear her speak, I would definitely not miss it. I want to thank her for taking the time to come to my home state and speak.
I have two short movies, one is her reading a passage from her book Mudbound and the other is an anecdote she regaled us with. I’m downloading them seperately onto Facebook and Twitter as WordPress won’t allow me to do so until I upgrade to pro. They’re going to have to wait a bit on that. Enjoy!
